WHAT'S YOUR GIFT?

These faces are the beautiful, smart, funny children God blessed Greg & I with. They are spirited, which should be no surprise coming from a sassy, strong-willed girl married to a middle-born, gregarious, no-fear guy. We have our hands full and that’s probably a good thing, or we’d have too much time to get into trouble ourselves.
.
On here, I call them:
PIP – that’s our oldest – our sweet, spirited, smart girl (aka the Librarian: because she’s a voracious reader & is always telling her brothers to be quiet!)
Ace – he’s our middle kid – our sensory-seeking ball of fastness and charm
Gus – he’s our too-cute, too-funny, too-much-personality for his age little character
.
What a privilege to be a parent. I often take it for granted and get frustrated beyond belief, but at the end of the day, we say prayers as we tuck them in, I sing a blessing over each of their precious heads and I thank God for the gift of each of their lives. They make me cry, shake my head, scowl; they make me laugh, smile, pray and they make my heart seriously full.

Greg brings out the very best in everyone, including me. He never stops – literally – NEVER STOPS, which can be exhausting to watch, as he goes out of his way to help, serve and be there for us and everyone he meets. He’s funny, charming and likes to devote his time to making other people feel more comfortable and have more fun. He’s tireless in his efforts, whether at home with the kids playing, or out in the world, sharing the Good News. We wouldn’t want it any other way. We are astonishingly blessed by his love and character.
